although you can barely hear a word of what he says the test are basic if you don't know one question you failing the next four or five questions. finals are copy and paste of all the tests just rearranged. meet him in his office ours he very patient outside of class

This is my first year in college and this professor made me change my major. You can not hear or understand him at all whatsoever. I tried to record him and I hear nothing in the recording. His class is all test based so if you fail even one test you are basically screwed. He writes on the chalkboard but it is no help at all. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS

Horrible professor. Very rude, doesnt tell you what topic r u in, so u could read the book, because his lectures very unclear. You barely can understand what is he talking about. All the notes on the board are messy. Doesnt follow syllabus. Youll feel lost in his class. After test he gives back scantron only. Dont take him.

Don't take him. He does not talk clearly and mumbles a lot. You will feel so lost in his class. Talks really low and gets mad if you tell him. His quizzes are from his notes but you don't even understand him. He does curve though if you talk to him.

I came to CSI as a visiting student in hopes of getting out of bio at my school (Binghamton). This accelerated summer course has been such an unpleasant experience. Corin, although intelligent, is a terrible, arrogant, ineffective professor. The class is scattered, he makes the material hard to learn, and does not tell you what will be tested.

Prof Corin is an extremely intelligent man, but not a good professor. He is very unorganized. I wish he informed our class the topics we should be studying to better prepare for the exams. I am extremely disappointed in his teaching style for an accelerated summer course... with only one month you need to be clear, concise, and organized. Good luck

As a lecture professor, he is not the best option. Voice is very low and can be hard to understand thus, testing is difficult. As a lab professor, he gets down to the basics and prefers to keep his topics moving.

He knows his stuff but does not have great organization in his lectures. Just read the book THOROUGHLY and compare it with his notes. Ask questions and make sure you communicate with him if you are confused, just ask if you want to pass!

you can easily pass the tests if you study the notes! you have to write them down as he speaks though. generous curving on tests makes it easier to pass. no hw no attendance no class participation needed. he makes his own tests for our class all you need in this class is the notes and you'll get an easy grade as long as you study before tests

DO NOT TAKE HIM. Scatterbrained and unclear. Jumps from different topics week to week making it impossible to follow along in the textbook. 3 tests all, multiple choice. No HW. He doesn't take attendance. Only positive it that he curves - A LOT - and his final was all three tests put together.

Do not take his class! The way he teaches is horrible and he is all over the place. He barely gives any notes and if any, they're unclear. Tests are hard to understand and the format is absurd. He tells you to go to tutoring in the library if you ask for help. If you still choose to take his class be prepared to teach yourself and good luck.

I did know stuff in his inspiring and interesting lectures. He knows the stuff really well. Though, his teaching can be confusing to some people. He doesn't use textbook. Tests are pretty much based on his lecture, so drop notes. He does not use ppt or any media. If you want an A, go google, youtube or use the textbook after class.

He is a good person but I can't say that he is a good professor, don't get me wrong he knows the topics very well but he is not clear at all while teaching them he doesn't use powerpoint the handouts are not clear at all. I used to like biology and he made me change my major! DO NOT to take him unless you want to learn everything by yourself
