I took this class needing a science credit and figured it would be better than a lab science. I'm wishing I had taken my chances elsewhere. Knickles is a nice lady, but she is just not a good professor. Her tests are unbearable, she expects us to know things she did not even go over in class. She is not clear with her expectations. Avoid if you can

The most stressful class I have taken. She has hard exams that contain info you never learned and she expects you to know everything that she hasnt taught. Do not take a course with her or youll be b*tching just as much as I am. She also has this annoying way of randomly raising her voice and its just the most aggravating class ever.

All I gotta say is, I don't know how this woman has a doctorate in education...this was one of the easiest classes I've taken since grade school, no joke. I took Applied Nutrition with Knickles and it was incredibly boring. I find it shameful that Lesley will count this class as a science general ed. credit. Take a science course with Ashmankas.

Comment:

Rosemary is a really sweet lady who is fair and willing to give students a second chance. Her tests are a bit confusing and misleading which caused by grade to go down significantly. I did well on all the small assignments and the paper however her tests were what killed me.

This class is listed in the cataloge as a Biology class, but it is really a self-help hour for those who believe strongly or more importantly, know their**** in the mental &physical health arena. Don't bother buying the text-book, just volunteer an anecdote from an appt. with your physican in a class discussion and Knickles will love/ace you.

Everyone complains that we're not in medical school... Hi, don't take this class if you don't want to learn about health, and don't complain that it's too hard. We ARE in college. Rosemarie is the cutest woman... Very thorough class.
