I LOVE Sally! That said, she expects a lot from her students. If you don't show up or slack off, your grade will show it. She's very helpful and responds quickly to emails. The only thing that really frustrates me with her is that you have to wait til the end of the semester to see any of your grades. I also took ART 170 with her. :)

I thought this class would be an easy A but she grades hard on all projects, presentations and papers. She expects us all to have amazing work. Be willing to work harder than you think. She also never has your grades until end of semester and doesn't use blackboard. & you will be charged at the end of the year for the supplies you use.

Sally is very skilled and knows what she's doing. But you have to have had prior experience with weaving to get an "A". Doing your best simply isn't good enough. She'll make you slave for your grade. Be prepared to work!

LOVE Sally! I dont understand how you can do horrible in her class... unless you dont show up, and turn in your projects in with duct tape and crayon scribbles. She is the sweetest lady ever! gives a lot of examples and is always wiling to help youu. I really enjoyed this class, had a lot of fun throughout the semester :) i would def recommend her

Sally's classes are all about exploring art and experimenting with different mediums. Her assignments are fairly vague, but this allows for plenty of creative freedom. There are no limits or crazy ideas. I have learned so much from Sally and I have grown as an artist. You have to TRY to do well in her class.

I'm sure she is a good professor in other classes, but I absolutely hated coming to this class. Was very vague when it came to projects, and her grading policies made no sense - example: gives you a low grade and yet wants to use it in an exhibit. She also gives projects that really have nothing to do with the subject. A very frustrating professor.

anyone who says she grades hard must have turned in the projects with the scotch tape showing on the outside, you have to actually put in effort and make the projects your own, she is very helpful and the nicest person ever, anyone who complains about the class being slow, well, its slow because no one ever really proves they understand the ideas

She grades EXTREMELY hard - even on the one page papers she assigns. She likes to have you make books, the whole last half of the semester was devoted to it. She overexplains herself, treating you like a kid. She even broke two of my projects and then graded me down!! I can't STAND this woman.

Sally is a great lady and the class is easy, but I swear her grading is screwed up. She really likes cut and paste, sewing things together. Be prepared to make books. I swear the effort you put in it the more she likes it. As long as you follow the assignment and fill the requirements of the project you'll do just fine.

She is a very tough grader. She is a nice lady, but she just grades difficultly. I am not an art major or anything near it, and I figured that this course would be an easy A, but I am working my ass off to get a good grade.

Sally is very sweet but kind of a joke. I think you could turn in anything and you would receive at least a B+. During critiques she makes the most random statements that no one knows how to answer. Again she is nice but I think she is a big push over so the quality of work in the class was low.
