Comment:

Dr. Naaman is a kind, gentle man of God who is passionate for evangelism and for preparing his students well for ministry. This course was exactly what I was hoping for in Christian Missions; a balanced overview of localized and overseas mission work. Do your best on papers and seek to learn from them--he is a very generous grader. Loved the class!

Naaman is the real deal. This course was almost like a devotional. He cares so much about his students. I remember he would ask the class everyday if anyone needed prayer, and then he would pray for them. That was so encouraging to me.

Comment:

A spiritually invigorating class. Naaman emphasizes growth in Christ more so than academics. The books read were not intellectually rigorous or pedantic. They were devotional and easy to read. But although you will not be challenged mentally, you will be challenged spiritually.

At first I couldn't tolerate him because he hardly ever lectures on the material. I've come to realize this is a good thing because he desires for students to engage with the material beyond memorizing. Do your best at the 8 essays (0 exams!) and you'll pass. Might learn something in the process, too.

Great Professor. He really knows how to make the classes fun and exciting. He applies his teaching to every type of learner, and he has a good grasp on what students need when it comes to knowing the material for the class. I really enjoy talking to this professor. He's very relational.

I had him for two classes: Christian Missions and Intro to Disciplemaking. Naaman was a great professor and focuses a lot on Muslims because he has a huge passion for them. He's very helpful and tells a lot of stories. It was an easy A, but you can really learn a lot from him.

Dr. Naaman is great. It's easy to see that he really loves the Lord and wants others to do the same. Took him for Intro to Disciple making. Super easy class. The few papers were so easy and short. Basically the class is to motivate you to share the gospel and love Jesus. Very easy and Dr. Naaman is a great man. Students love and respect him.

He is so great! Really funny and motivational. He definitely helps to give you perspective that you aren't in school just to get a grade or take classes. Easy grader, and overall amazing person!

I took this professor for my online Christian Missions course. He is a great professor, very passionate about Missions and very eager to help students. You can see he is very conscientious about teaching! I would definitely recommend taking his class!

Dr. Naaman is one of those professors who really understands where you're coming from as a student. He incorporates his personal experiences into his lectures which keeps it interesting. I took both a class with him online and then in person. Both were excellent, though I enjoyed Introduction to Islam over Christian Missions.

Dr. Namaan was an amazing teacher. You may be convicted in his class if your just at school for more "knowledge". You see the Love of the Lord shine through Namaan and if you read all the books and do all the papers, as well as attend his classes you will get a lot out of them. Encourages you to seek first His kingdom...hmm.. such a great teacher!

Super awesome guy! He loves the Lord and is passionate about people meeting Jesus. His classes are extremely easy. He brings in a lot of guest speakers. Some good, some bad. He also shows tons of videos. The work load is very light. If you plan on going into the mission field he is a great guy to get to know. He has contacts all over the world.
