OUT OF ALL THE HOURS SHE SPENDS TALKING, 1% OF IT IS ON THE TEST. SHE'S BASICALLY READING YOU WHATS IN THE TEXTBOOK. THE WAY SHE RUNS HER CLASS IS BASICALLY A "TEACH YOURSELF" CLASS BECAUSE NOTHING SHE TEACHES IS ON THE TEST, IT'S ALL OUT OF THE BOOK SO YOU HAVE TO DO A TON OF READING AND MEMORIZING ON YOUR OWN. HER "STUDY GUIDES" ARE USELESS.

Sweet teacher. Her class is tough but look over the parts you need to know and MEMORIZE! Her lectures are very interesting. I didnt get the grade I wanted but I dont regret taking her class at all.

This class is fun. I highly recommend it. It is a tough class, i got a "D" in the first exam, it was hard to catch up but I listen to her advice to "GO TO THE OPEN LAB". The end result was a "B"... I'm so happy..

I had her for ps/phys sci 250 and she taught half the semester. Pretty easy and very organized. Sit in the front so u can hear better. Turn in all work and show up. Textbook is useful for studying, but I used the reserves and got an A.

She's a very sweet lady but she's super duper tough when it comes to what she expects you to know for her class. The overall passing rate for her class is a C because she tries to cram her 26 yrs + experience/knowledge of anatomy into your head within 18 weeks! She's very harsh when it comes to grading and what she's expects you to know.

PS 250. Class is split between PS & PSYS. She teaches the psychical part. Whole class is 4 tests, 1 project, 1 final & attendance. Seems hard at first but really isn't that difficult. Still no walk in the park either. Some what common sense but goes over a lot of work and book is pretty dry. Decent teacher.

GO TO OPEN LAB!!!! good teacher but a really tough class. great lecture skills. 6 unit tests in a semester. each test consists of 2 parts. lab and lecture. 100 points each. 200 points per unit test. drops your lowest test score. no homework.

Dont take her. You basically teach yourself. No help at all. She lectures for a long time and maybe 15% of it will be on the test. If you ask questions she doesnt answer, just goes around it asking if you do.. uhhh HELLO!!! thats why we asked it!! If you want someone who cares about teaching anatomy... its NOT her.

The class is ok as long as you do the readings. Attendance is mandatory, you lose points if you have an unexcused absence. She gets annoyed when you ask questions.

The class was very straightforward. Almost everything that was on the test was in the notes and still she gave useful pointers on how to do better. She definitely wants people to learn so don't take her if you want an easy A.

I did find the subject quite interesting. However, lectures were extremely long and did not help for the exams. Lab tests are easy, but you seriously need to give up your social life to get a passing grade. Medler has a different sense of humor, so make sure to bring your coffee =]

I think Prof. Medler does an awesome job, but if you are not any type of Science major (including nursing) you may not like her because she really teaches biology and expects students to really learn. If you are taking 260, you have to study in and out of class. Go to open labs, grow up and study; this class is not sociology. She's a great teacher.

this class actually turned out good. i learned a lot. prof medler was ready and willing to answer any questions you had. the tests weren't hard, but just like in every other class you gotta study. studying daily or often is strongly recommended. NO CRAMMING!! take this teacher and make sure you go to open labs. they help out the most

Outside study is expected. As a matter of fact, only about 50% of info. is covered in lecture. I didn't find her class easy, or her helpful, at all.

I don't believe biology professors typically have an affinity for teaching, but I think she does a great job. She's all business much of the time, but interjects with side comments that are pretty funny and can keep your attention. Using the book in the library (has key points highlighted) will help reduce reading-load(dry material),pay attention

I thought she was a great teacher. She really knows what she is talking about, which makes the class really informative. As long as you stay on top of your work you will do well in this course. She is a wonderful teacher. I would take the class again.

Very nice and caring, but she makes the lecture VERY boring, gives too much homework and expects you to be able to use the cd rom for the computer on EVERY chapter, her tests aren't anything like her study guides. Avoid her. DO NOT TAKE HER. Had to drop out.
