Comment:

Professor Eastmond is a great professor. I took him for Ast. 109 and Ast. 110. He is straightforward and does not make class harder than it needs to be. His classes are fun and entertaining. He is also very caring and enjoys teaching astronomy, which makes class go by fast. Take him if you can and make sure to attend the study sessions!

Eastmond was sooo easy honestly. His exams are very straight forward, and he even offered a test review day where his assistant would literally read the questions on the test and then go over the answer with you I mean come on now particularly giving you the answer! Awesome! Although his lectures are heavy and what I mean is boring. Very easy A.

Professor Eastmond is great. He is willing to give extra credit and his lectures are not so heavy they are what you read for homework the night before. Homework is pretty easy but some exams can be difficult if you don't study. Overall his classes are easy to pass if you're willing to get your work done. I have taken him for two classes already!

Nice and helpful. He can be monotone. He is funny and you get to visit the planetarium and it's real cool. Easy tests and homework. He has an assistant that is also helpful. Big class of 50-60. Textbook isn't used. Does take attendance.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. Keeps the class interesting, explains things in a way that everyone can understand and will answer any questions thrown at him. You will learn tons of cool stuff in this class. There isn't much homework and the exam's aren't too hard as long as you turn in the homework assignments, which there aren't many.

He is very monotonous and it's really incomprehensible to understand him when there's 115 other students making a ruckus. His study guides are lengthy, and his exams are often vague. I'm an overachiever, but I just couldn't take this class anymore. I would consider another subject, Astronomy can be really bland and boring.

I took him for Astro 109 and passed with a B. So I took him again, he is an awesome and easy teacher. But I do have to say the class can be somewhat boring. But he gives you handout and anwsers almost all the homework questions he gives you. But his T.A sucks, she always messed up my grades. But other then that he is seriously awesome and easy.

Extremely easy class as long as you attend every class meeting and take good notes you should have no trouble getting an A in the class. Extra credit is optional but i did it just to visit griffith observatory and it was a great experience! Don't buy a textbook as i never used it at all during the semester, just use the one in the library.

Dr. Eastmond is incredible! He is very patient and kind; he is also very thorough in his lectures. Attendance is optional, and he offers extra credit in his classes. Study guides are provided by him, and his tests aren't even hard, so long as you do the study guide and read the summaries at the end of the chapter. Take him! You will NOT regret it!

HES PERHAPS THE BEST TEACHER AT SAC HE SHOULD WORK AT N.A.S.A CUZ HE IS THAT SMART SUCH A BRILLIANT SWEET KIND MAN. AND VERY EASY AND HELPFUL. professor eastmond is the best astronomy professor at sac, he will help you pass no matter what, there is no way of failing this class unless you dont care about school, this was a easy but honestly very boring class, take this instead of earth science, easy A!
