If you didn't have Prof. Hite for Speech, you really missed a fantastic teacher who went out of his way to make a somewhat intimidating subject easy and fun. He is one of the best teachers I have ever had - anywhere. You will be missed Terry! Your outlook on life is phenomenal and you have a gift of connecting with your students!

Not only did Prof Hite make the class interesting, but he and made us laugh as well. I think he really cares about his students and wants them to succeed. Thank you Prof Hite!

Mr. Hite is great. As long as you follow directions you're golden. I hated the fact that I even had to take this course but from the very first class on I can honestly say I enjoyed it. He's very strict on deadlines but that's a good thing. I'd strongly recommend Mr. Hite for any English course he teaches, he's somehow able to make it enjoyable.

Mr. Hite is an excellent professor. I throughly enjoyed his class. He lets you know what his expections are at the very beginning of the class. He is very encouraging and grades fair. When you give your speech, just make sure you keep within the time frame allotted. I would recommend this class to anyone. He also has a great sense of humor. MLW

Mr. Hite really made this class fun. I was deathly afraid of this class and a nervous wreck. Just stick with the class, he grades fairly and I know this sounds weird but you will end up liking it. Just make sure you stick to the time limits and relax, your classmates are in it with you :D

Mr. Hite at first glance seems harsh and mean but he really is super nice and friendly. He is strict when it comes to his speeches but is so nice in his comments. He is helpful and i always looked forward to going to class. His stories were funny and relaxed us. He is a great speech teacher and would have him again. ^_^

TERRY HITE IS A EXCELLENT TEACHER TO HAVE FOR COMM 105. hE IS VERY HILARIOUS AND OUT GOING. I WAS SCARED AT FIRST BUT ONCE YOU DO YOUR FIRST SPEECH IT GOES AWAY, YOU ACTUALLY BECOME A LITTLE FAMILY WITH YOUR PEERS. EVERY THING WAS UNDERSTANDABLE, HE IS TELEPHONE FRIENDLY IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYBODY!

He is the best!!!! He is also Hilarious!! Speaking in public is HORRIBLE, but with him, you become family with your classmates and you are soo much more comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Even if it is an 8:00am class you will want to come because it puts you in a good mood all day!

Mr. Hite is awesome! Speech was my worst fear but after my 2nd speech I was fine. He lets you know the first night of class you aren't there to be professional speakers and you wont be by the end- its just to help your confidence. hes funny and tells you exactly what you need to know. I highly recommend taking his class.

He is entertaining but makes the same people go first every week in class.Also, if you are in the first group you get deducted for this he does not explain such as the Monroe's Sequence when it is not in the assignment description. He seems slightly unfair.

Amazing professor! Was scared and nervous to take course but he made it fun and helped me be more confident. Clear outline of what is expected. Gives many examples to help with topic choice. Had to show up for class to grade others and b/c I only had one class a week. I highly recommend Professor Hite.

Terry is an amazing instructor. He is tough but tells you exactly what you need to do in his class to get an "A". If you follow his instructions to the letter you will get the grades. This class is a lot of work but ultimately worth it in the end. The Chili Pepper is for his attitude and general outlook on life.

He is the best most funny professor i have had in a long time. He looks tough but he is easy and he likes to have fun in class. He tells you what you need to know and then lets you go home, he does not drag thigs out. He relates things to personal experiences he has had in his life. I would take any class with him again:)
