The best PS professor at Wilkes. Extremely knowledgeable & nice person. If you are interested in PS you will respect Dr. Baldino. He is always being interviewed by many organizations for his opinions regarding politics. He can be boring during lecture but I found his stories quite interesting. Pretty fair grader & does give helpful feedback.

Dr. Baldino is extremely passionate about the subject material. Some may find the class boring, but it is not difficult if you do the work. He is an extremely fair grader and always willing to help if you ask. The tests are strongly based off the online quizzes. Overall, an easy B+/A if you put the work in and a super nice professor.

Comment:
Dr. Baldino is a nice professor but his class is terribly boring sometimes. He makes no effort to hide his raging liberal views, but I guess if you agree with that you won't mind. The class is mostly tangents that he goes off on so it's not always necessary to go, but you do need to read the book if you expect to do well on the tests.

I found Dr. Baldino to be extremely rude and condescending. I was more or less forced to drop the course after he ridiculed and insulted me for simply asking a question.

Comment:
Definitely a sweet guy. He's got a good sense of humor, and he's fairly laid-back, though he takes the material seriously. That said, it's VERY easy to distract him and lead him off-topic for a good half of the class - this can be both good and bad, depending on how tired you might be that day. A fair grader, and very clear and kind.

Overall, he's a good professor to take. He can get a little confused some times and forget where he left off, what he did and didn't say regarding assignments and things like that, but he's really open to questions. All you have to do is ask and he'll repeat himself.

Extremely intelligent, but expects everybody in the class to be as knowledgeable as him. Very informative, but you have to read the book and do the online study guides if you want to do well. Admittedly a harsh grader, but if you work hard you'll do pretty well. Only take him if you like PS, otherwise take somebody else who's a little easier.

Gives relatively hard tests. Grades essays pretty hard as well. One group project where you have to write one page, and one paper where you write a one page letter. Knows tons and tons about government but sometimes gets off topic, keeping you there until the last possible second. If your decent at this stuff take him. Otherwise, try someone else.

Dr. Baldino is really intelligent, which shows in his class, but makes it tough to understand him. Read the book to pass the quizzes, study the notes to pass the tests. The congressional paper is tough and worth 300 points, but you'll learn. Nice person though.
