He is a totally fantastic, patient, and understanding professor. I missed a ton of classes, failed all of the tests, and just attempted all the homework and did the extra credit and walked out of the class with a B-.

He is hard to follow. He is unclear most of the time. I had straight A's in math until I took him this quarter. He gets side tracked, I don't know what he is talking about half the time. He does not explain math in an understandable way. Also, he changed our test days like 3 times, then sent them home because he knew we didn't understand material!

Lost my work and gave me a C my first quarter with him. Second quarter, because no other times worked and I need it to graduate, was with him. He often told me that he knew I was a C student even though I maintained a 96 percent in the class and had over 100 points (out of 100) on all exams. Make copies of all of your work!

Don't take this class with this instructor because he's horrible at teaching! Always late, wears the same outfit everyday, doesn't explain assignments well. HE SUCKS!

he is interesting prof...i would say you would need to go to as many classes of his to learn anything..he comes off as confusing at first but once you start asking questions he explains it better...there are plenty of chances to get many points in his class to better grade if you didnt do too hot on the test overall pretty good prof.

I should have taken him much sooner as he was 10 times better than McGee. He is the nicest man and has great examples to keep you interested and help you learn the material. Gives massive bonus points. You can miss tons and still get an A. Not the greatest at explaining but his other methods make up for it.

Very nice man but not a good teacher! The only reason I passed this class with an A- was because my boss helped me every week with my work. Being in Malone's class was kinda like watching a train wreck! It was awful!!

His examples start out making sense, but the more indepth he goes, the worse it gets. Good at math, horrible at teaching. I have trouble with math anyway, so this guy almost made it impossible for me to get all my math credits. Plus his online syllabus was jacked up so I never had access to ANY of the online material, of which there is a lot.

Prof. Malone is a fair teacher, though sometimes he gets confused. He's not really hard, but you can easily earn your points. He's dreadful at times. I wouldn't recommend him if your not enthused about math. He's very confusing at times.

He's eager to teach but he's difficult to learn from. He's constantly talking so it's hard to let what he's saying sink in. He "gets" math, but maybe not such a great teacher of it. Loves his job, though.

He is not a very good teacher for someone who is really bad at math. But, if you just want to get through it and pass take him. Come to class, take his notes, do the homework (or copy it from the book)-just put them in a folder for each chptr. Online quizzes, he takes the highest grade, and usually the 1st part of the test is take home.

He is all over the place when he teaches. He is talking about one thing then if something pops into mind from what he is teaching he will jump tracks. He makes no sense and sometimes you get the feeling that he is not teaching but talking to himself about stuff. If you can take another teacher for math I recommend that you do, STAY AWAY FROM HIM

After sitting in a hard plywood and steel tube chair for 5 weeks, I can look back and say I've learned nothing and would have been better off rolling a cigar out of 41 $10 bills and making a gerbil smoke them. Avoid this teacher at all costs, even if it means waiting untill the next quarter.

Hard to follow in lectures, really nice though I basically left that class thinking what did i just learn for 10 weeks? Even if you do badly on tests you can make up for that with projects and portfolios which you can just BS. I got a B without really learning anything
