Tonya is a legend. If you are worried about taking this class don't be! She is SUPER understanding and goes out of her way to help you out. Homeworks you get 5 chances per question and exams she gives you TONS of time, as well as 2 attempts per question (the second attempt is 80% of the points on that question) if you don't get A that's on you.

Tonya is the sweetest professor you'll ever have. Her lectures are pretty hard to follow, but do the homework and practice tests and you'll pass easily. We get 5 tries on every homework problem (or more if you talk to her) and 2 tries on every test problem (which are multiple choice). Obviously it's a hard class but she really wants you to succeed!

Tonya was one of my favorite professors last semester! She is hilarious and always wants to make sure you understand the material. There's a homework assignment due every Friday, a lab about half of the weeks, and 4 tests total. The tests are way easier than the homework assignments and you have multiple chances to get each question right.

Tonya is not the best lecturer, but she's a really sweet lady who wants everyone to do well in her class. She gives 2 chances on every test question, 5 chances per homework question, multiple tries on recitation quizzes, etc. Even if you do poorly on exams, you can still easily pass the class from doing the homework/going to lab!

Tonya was a homie. She was always willing to help give extra attempts on homework and extend the deadline. She allowed for you to meet with her and work through any physics problem. She sincerely cares about her students. She will give you snacks if you go to her office hours.

She's really funny and really nice and she seems to enjoy what she does but what she doesn't do is teach. I completely stopped going a couple of weeks into the semester and did the same the next semester because she just rambles and shows demos and talks about random stuff that doesn't help. I did fine but I had to basically teach myself.

Tonya is nutso, in the nicest way possible. She bounces off the wall. She's hilarious. She also assigns tons of homework and her tests aren't that tough, but I felt like her lectures were kind of pointless; they were scattered and felt unorganized. Good choice for Pre-Health students, I would say.

This class was so entertaining! She loves what she teaches and she wants you to succeed. As long as you do the homework, pay attention, and study a little bit for the test you will definitely pass the class. The tests aren't terribly hard either.

Shes a very caring professor that cares about her students and their goals. She sets time aside to meet with students when works for them if her office hours dont work for them. She will go over any questions you have on homework, quizzes, or tests and lets you finish things Pat the due date for full credit if you are working with her or a Ta.

Necessary to go to class to do well. The course itself was interesting and I even caught myself talking about the content to family and friend. She was a really nice person and explained the material well, but when it came to tests, the answers were tricky. She would say multiple answers in class but the test was only looking for one answer.

Triplett was an awesome professor! Gave really insightful lectures and kept class interested. She regularly posts PowerPoints and video lectures online which helps you get caught up if you are absent. I got an A in the class and never opened the textbook, just make sure you go to class and listen to the lectures and you'll be good to go!

The text book is not necessary. She doesn't offer any extra credit and most of the grade is based on exams which can be pretty tricky, especially if you don't study. She also requires a 95 for an A, which is higher than most classes. This class also talked a lot about the universe and planets, not really about aliens.

She was easy to listen to. Took attendance by clicker questions. Helpful to go to class for sure, but she posted the powerpoints on canvas. The material was easy to understand but tests were un-deliberately tough. The questions were tricky for students with basic knowledge. I studied hard and barely got an A. I didn't even buy the textbook though.

I hate Physics, and she made me love attending class. Very fun lectures. Sit close to the front so you can see her fun demos. Lab is required, but they're always fun. Attendance isn't mandatory, but it's helpful. GO TO REVIEW SESSIONS. It will help you so much on exams. She cares a ton about each student in a class of 300. Best professor.

I really enjoyed her lectures because they were simple and I always knew how to do the homework, afterward. She offers after school homework help and the labs rarely took over an hour to complete. Easy to get an A.
