I seriously love Tricia's classes! I have taken CD118, ED200, and now CD260 with her! She really lays everything out clearly in the syllabus so fairly easy to stay on top of things. It is a paper and project heavy class compared to the other classes of hers I have taken but very reflective when it is all done! could go without textbook.

She is amazing. Truly cares about every student. Never yells if you are late. Lots of papers and be prepared to speak in front of class. Gives good feedback. Loved her class if you have any interest in teaching k-12 TAKE THIS CLASS! She is very knowledgeable. Used my book maybe once not worth it...

Prof Siegel was an amazing professor. She had a real-life example/story for every topic we studied. Although I never took advantage of it, there are plenty of extra credit opportunities. A lot of papers, but clear rubrics, and she goes over them thoroughly in class. Take this class!

This class is paper heavy with 5-6 papers for the semester. These papers are very easy to complete if you follow the rubric. Tricia is always willing to help you out if you are having trouble and super easy to talk to. She tells interesting stories that make the class more fun.

The online class was pretty simple as long as you did your part. She gives very clear instructions for what she expects your papers to look like and grades fairly. She's there to help if you need it, but usually gives you the tools so you don't. Would take her class again.

Tricia is one of the best professors I've ever had. She doesn't lecture too much so it doesn't get boring, she's very interactive, and she uses a bunch of examples, as she used to work with elementary kids herself. A fairly paper-heavy class, but she's a very fair grader. Taking good notes & skimming over the textbook will assure you a good grade.

Tricia is so down to earth! Very easy class if you take good notes and read the chapters. She is very relateable because she previously taught elementary kids and knows how things run. Assignments and papers aren't bad. Tests are pretty simple if you attend class and pay attention.

She is a former elementary school teacher who took on a course for future educators, so she's got a ton of applicable advice. Although she can be a bit awkward and out there with her jokes, she is just trying to engage the class. All in all, she was a good teacher to have. I liked knowing that what she taught us was so practical and relevant.

Tricia is a wonderful professor both in person and online. This class wasn't a lot of work. Discussion boards, 3 interviews with teachers, some smaller assignments, and then only three tests (NO accumulative final at the end). I took this class in the condensed summer semester, and I could have still done well without the textbook.

Tricia is an amazing professor! She's very clear with her expectations and her experiences and stories of her children keep class interesting and at times humorous. Put in the work and you will succeed. I learned many life applications in her lectures. Tricia is also quick to respond to students and is very caring. I definitely recommend her class!

Overall class was interesting and fairly easy if you did the assignments correctly and followed rubric. She seemed disorganized and scatterbrained. Students corrected her multiple times when she posted incorrect dates for testing windows, she posted a schedule for an in'class meeting that was intended for a different class.

For ED200, Tricia is very clear of what she expects on all homework assignments. If you follow the rubric you will more than likely get 100% on that assignment. Group projects are unavoidable. She tells lots of stories about her own her teaching life. Tricia is laid back and great teacher all around.

I took this class online and I really liked it! Professor Siegel is very clear about what she wants from the assignments and is always very fast at responding to emails. On any given week there could be anywhere from 1-4 assignments due, but none of them are really that hard. Super easy class but I felt like I learned a lot.
