Comment:

Dr. Pan is a nice, older professor. He is sometimes very difficult to understand because of his heavy accent, especially when explaining complicated concepts. Attendance is mandatory. Tests and quizzes are tough; getting extra help is a must!

Comment:

One of the best math teachers I have ever had. Dr. Pan really knows the subject matter inside and out. Although he may be a little tough to understand sometimes, he understands the language barrier and will go out of his way to help his students. Just pay attention and come to class, and you'll be fine.

Horrible professor one of the worst here at UNH. Strong accent so it can be hard to understand him. He does not explain the material he just uses powerpoint and expects us to figure out how to do the problems. Tests are extremely difficult and most of the time confusing. Half of the stuff on the test he never even taught. Overall do NOT take him.

this teacher is impossible to understand, he has a thick chinese accent. it is very difficult to pay attention because the class is very boring. there is a quiz every class, so read your book and go to the clr. homework is easy if you ask the clr for help. good luck.

His Class is really boring. He says verbal instead of variable. He tries to explain clearly but fails. Quiz every class. If you can pay attention though, the class is easy. Finding the will to pay attention is the hardest part of the class. Keeps you the full hour and fifteen or two and a half hours based on your class.

I gave up on paying attention in this class solely for the reason that I can not understand a damn word he says...with that said, however, he knows his stuff and is a pretty fair grader. Become best friends with your textbook, it most likely won't have a thick chinese accent.

Likes to talk about de-ribbit-ives, pronounces pretty much every name wrong, but overall a good guy. a little hard to understand at times but he draws everything out on the board. Bring a textbook and its relatively easy.

Fairly easy class. Gives lots of bonus points. You only have to answer 4 of the 8 questions on the test but for each extra question you answer correctly you get 25 bonus points. Keeps class the entire period, always takes attendance, but a nice guy.

Pan is hard to understand and unwilling to help his pupils.It takes a huge amount of effort to make it through his class.He takes the entire 3 hours to teach a lesson that should take less than an hour.He repeats himself over and over and will not answer questions with any sort of comprehension.I am guaranteed a headache each class.Vis-à-vis.
