Expects a lot out of students. In class examples are a huge help with homework. Homework format is lengthy(4-10 hours per class) but great for organization bad for your schedule. Fair grading policy that focuses on homework and exams.

He expects a lot, And he likes things done HIS way. Statics and Material Strengths has a lot of methods to solve the same problems. If you do not do the problem the way he taught you, you will get marked down, even if it is a faster/easier method. Sometimes it is unclear which method to use, so its good to do your homework early so u can ask Q's.

Great teacher and if you pay attention you can learn a great deal. He is funny and cracks jokes about the people that dont pay attention and do poorly. Do your homework, go to class, study your notes and you should get a B in the class. I think he speaks english just fine. He was my instructor for 3 classes total.

Dr. Choudhury expects a lot academically and doesn't understand that in engineering all of your classes are demanding. not impossible to understand and applies coursework to industry. He also gives out formula sheets for exams, but consistently gave out 3 to 4 hours worth of homework per session. get on his good side and dedicate time to this class

Sometimes it's hard to understand what he's saying, and he definitely doesn't make sense a lot of time - or he spends tons of time on stupid stuff (15 minutes on how to draw a straight line).
