he is a great professor. he makes sure that you clearly understand what he is saying before he moves on. he does give hints and his practice tests are extremely helpful. i've never had a teacher who was so determined to help his students succeed.

Alex is really interested in the student's success and he teaches really well. He recommends not memorizing anything, which suprisingly works. However, the test can be challenging, so keep up with homework and definitely do the practice exams and ask questions.

Most clear presentation of calculus I've experienced at MU. Class was ok, it was math, but he introduced fun. He also expressed disgust for the much hated mathematica labs and gave us full credit for them if we scored 50% or higher on them. Keep up!

One of the best teachers I've had... you will learn a lot AND do good on tests if you keep up with the work and go to lecture. He's also pretty funny.
