Spend an hour a week memorizing the paintings. That's it. The tests are easy. She gives you all the information that you need, and is an easy grader. Class can be boring but it is an easy A and she is a very nice professor.

Comment:

Dr. Bennett is very enthusiastic about her subject. She assigns a lot of readings, but goes over them well in class. She is a pretty easy grader and all of her exams are take home. She doesn't respond to emails, but answers questions after class. Overall, I would recommend her, but I would bring coffee to class to stay awake.

Dr. Bennett has been my FAVORITE teacher this semester. She truly gets involved with what she is teaching. She somehow manages to find the brilliance in even the dullest things. She really has been such an interesting teacher! Dr. Bennett grades pretty easily and loves to talk to her students! Totally recommend!

I love Alma. She is so passionate about the topic and knows so much without looking at any resources. Her grading is awesome, however, if you want to take this class be prepared for lots of memorization. She is a very sweet lady, sometimes lecture can be pretty boring, but overall I am enjoying this class and doing really well!

She knows what is printed in the books. Other than that, she butchers historical knowledge left and right. She makes you memorize every little detail, while not actually learning anything. Lots of work-way too much rote memorization-if you do it, then fine bc she is an easy grader. Would not recommend at all. You could learn all of this by yourself

The teacher lectures every class without using Power Points and without ever writing anything on the board. You have a quiz almost every week that exclusively consists of memorizing photos and authors/architects in the book. Exams are rather difficult as she rarely lectures on anything she puts on the exams and just tells you what will be on them

I can't believe Dr.Bennett has gotten these ratings! She has been my favorite teacher at Clemson! Hands down! She is extremely nice, her classes our very easy, and her flightyness provides for a lot of laughs during class. I can not speak more highly of Alma. I love her!

Interesting Class! Super nice! Lectures could be boring as she tends to ramble, but tells interesting and funny stories. Reading intensive, and lots of work, but nothing very hard. Tests are intensive and had 2 and three parts, but she gives a great study guide. Take notes and pay attention and you'll do fine. Do the work and an easy A-B.

She's a very caring a sweet professor. She is flighty and it's almost impossible to understand her lectures though. You'll need to rely heavily on your books but it's a pretty easy class if you can sit through the lectures.

Really great teacher! There is a project you must do and it can be a group thing. As long as you do the project and listen in class you will be fine. She tells you what will be on the test, so skim that material! Great teacher!

I loved Dr. Bennett's Mythology class. She really got excited about it, you can't help but to your self. The class was more difficult than I exspected, however if you put the effort it is easy to keep up because she provides great outlines with what will be covered each day and what you are exspected to do by each class.

dr. bennett is a must-take. she's very eclectic, very understanding, and very knowledgeable. she does depart honors for english so if you're going down that track you will really enjoy her class. organized interesting speakers and field trips. rewarding
