he is the best prof. at wp.He gives out reading and assigns papers with them, but you can write the papers w/o really reading. he makes you think and makes you open your eyes to the world. he is an easy grade just prove you are trying and thinking he will give you an A or a B

Great Professor! Used one book the whole semester that had to be read and one book was used for the final! Papers were based on book readings that I barely read and received an A on all! Great to have at 8 am b/c never took attendance and watched good movies half of the time!

Prof. Alva is a great prof. He allows you to expand your mind into a realistically deeper sense of thinking. He's currently taking a semester away from teaching in order to complete his Ph.D, however if he comes back I highly recommend that you take his course.
