Medical terminology is just memorization. You don't even have to buy the book, there are flash cards and exercises online. 5 in class exams, the rest is online. Impossible to fail

Easy A IF you memorize everything SHE says, don't even buy the book because most times it contradicts what she says and if you use the info from the book on your test you'll get it wrong. The most disrespectful teacher of all time, she never said anything to me personally but she rips students apart in class. Hates teaching obviously. Easy A.

Oh my goodness. What a crazy person. Med term is a super easy class if you don't get an A it's only because you didn't feel like memorizing. She gives you all of the test questions. Easy A+ for me. The problem is that i learned absolutely nothing..terrible..just memorize and shut up

Dr. Chitwood is an amazing professor!!! She is really nice and provides students with plenty of time to ask questions after class since class ended early almost every day. This was one of my favorite classes here at USF!!BTW, you who wrote two comments down, interrupting her during her lecture will get you a negative response.. Welcome to college.

She's impatient and does not have any respect for students OR guests that come by the classroom. Asking her to "wait" or "slow down" will grant you with a rude and unnecessary attitude.

She is really great. She knows what she's talking about for sure. She doesn't take attendance but I would definitely sugfest going to class every day because the book just isn't the same. she has lecture outlines on bb that you can print up before class that go right along with her notes. I would also suggest going to the help sessions before the test because she gives her ta the test and he tells you everything that is on the test. Great class

Dr. Chitwood is a great professor. Honestly I only took Greek Civ because I needed it for Gordon Rule. Other than that I didn't and still don't have a great deal of interest in the material covered. But other than that she is a wonderful teacher. Don't bother buying the book. Just print out the lecture outlines and make flash cards and ull be fine!

Had this professor for two online classes: Language, Culture, and Film (LIN 2002) and Medical Terminology. Both are easy A classes if you keep up with the work. Not much work at all, and didn't use any books for either class.

I loved this class and teacher. It is so easy, just listen to the lecture which is mainly all greek myths. This class is not brain surgery. Obviously you need to study for the test like any other class. Clearly these negative remarks are from people who didnt attend lecture or bother listening. Easy A/B.

Be prepared to rely on notes and take in depth notes in class. DO NOT MISS CLASS! She goes over one section of notes per class and you're on your own to fill them in. If you're willing to put in the work, you'll be fine. The information is esay to remember if you're interested in the subject but don't think this is an easy A, you'll work for it. :)

Don't bother raising your hand if you dont for sure know your facts and have something to back it up she will call you out on it and embarrass you in front of the class. I did my own research and half the stuff she discussed were not even on point it seems she doesn't have the full knowledge for this subject.

Class Myth. Grade based upon 5 written tests. Fairly easy. Important to show up to class and make sure you print out her notes otherwise it is impossible to keep up. Don't bother buying the textbook you aren't tested on it at all and her version of things usually differ from the book anyways. She often flys through lectures so she can show a movie

Great professor. She is extremely funny and has a lot of spunk and the material is interesting. Do the extra credit every time and ALWAYS attend the review sessions; the TA I had was really great and cut out things we didn't need for the exams. Study hard and attend lectures (miss one and it'll be hard to catch up) ; you'll do great!

Great material. Great teacher. 5 exams, STRAIGHT from the lectures which have printable notes. TONS OF EXTRA CREDIT. you would be hard pressed to fail this class. she's rough around the edges but still lectures well. She is not a good teacher at all. She is rude and her tests are harder than they should be for a class like this. I was looking forward to taking this class but since starting it I have discovered that I hate it. Her lectures are boring and not visually engaging. Overall I am very dissappointed in both the teacher and the class.
