Everyone loves J. Even if he's just met you, he treats you like he's known you for years. Sometimes he can be vague and a little frustrating to deal with for studio, but you just have to keep asking questions and talking to him and then you'll be fine.

My studio really did not like him, mostly because of his unrealistic expectations and his refusal to give grades back because "we should be doing our best anyway". However, the class the year ahead of us loved him, so I really think it depends on the attitude of your studio as well as his expectations for your year.
