LOVE HER! She is one of the few good teachers at Eastern. She gives you exactly what you need to know for the tests. Nothing is ever a surprise in her class. As long as you go to class and do all the papers, it would be impossible to not get an A

She was awsome! be ready to write fast tho..she didnt use power point in my class so u had to refer to the book at times. If you come to class and pay attention you will do fine. she gives study guides and everything on the study guide is on the test.

Fairly easy class. She takes attendance everyday and usually gives out short, 5 question quizzes once or twice a week and sometimes they're take-out. As long as you pay a little bit of a attention and do the readings you'll pass and I had no problem with the teacher.

Not bad at all! Show up and take VERY GOOD notes. Read articles and turn in responses. Very awesome teacher. Material is all review from high school so you don't have to read the text book. PREPARE ahead of time for tests!!!! The first test is the hardest! Comes directly from study guide. ALL ESSAY EXAMS done in pen. Would take her for another PLS

She was a very fair teacher. If you listen in class and take notes, you will be fine. All the test questions came directly from the notes. She said that the book would help, but you won't need it if you show up for class. Great lady!

This class taught me nothing new, and the most I got out of it was when she was gone. If you get one word wrong on any essay (which every assignment/test is), you get at least 3 points off. Study guides helped, but were over everything so nothing was narrowed down. Way too complicated for an introductory class.

I graduated last year and had Dr. Poole for 2 classes. And I am a male. Dr. Poole is a fair and dedicated professor. She is not biased. If you didn't do well in her class, it's your own fault. Sure, some of her study guides are a little long, but they cover evertything on the exams. I would definitely recommmend her!

Honors. She was really helpful after I didn't do so well on the first test. She told me what I should do to help prepare myself better and I then got an A on the next one. Her lectures are usually pretty boring, but the study guides really prepare you for the test. As long as you do those, you're in great shape for the test. Fair grader, nice lady.

The lectures pretty much dictate what will be on the tests, but the study guides are completely overwhelming! If you study a lot and write fast then you should be fine. She is a pretty nice lady, but if you ask questions, even when she asks for questions, she makes it seem like you're an idiot. Pretty fair grader over all.

If you go to class and take good notes, you don't really have to read the cases. And her lectures are good, anyway. She's gives study guides, but you have to STUDY the questions. She's really nice and it's a good class, but you have to work for the grade.

A very helpful professor.. Anyone that says her classes are hard are stupid.. Her expectations are reasonable and if you goto class, take notes, and study you will be fine. Good professor that actually teaches you material that is helpful and stuff you will remember long after taking the class.
