Ms. King is great. She gives good feedback on the discussion questions. The online class is easy to follow. You just have to make sure you follow the deadlines and get assignments done before the due dates. She won't budge on completing assignments after it's due. She also posts grades the next day and responds to emails really fast.

Took Management as a hybrid course, all the online portions were easily looked up online so no trouble there. The lectures were typically just tangents that she would go on without any purpose or relation to the chapter. Not terrible, just don't take if you want to get anything out of the class besides snarky remarks from the professor.

Comment:

Ms. King is honestly a great professor. I took her for several of my Management classes so far and she's great. She cares about her students (as long as they're willing to work and show up) and is honestly really funny, too. She can be tough on you but it's because she's passionate. Just keep up with assignments and study and you'll easily pass.

Class is basically online. At the time I took it we had to do a film project but I heard she stopped that. You have weekly assignments due that you should not put off till the last minute. You meet in person to take exams that make absolutely no sense. Don't bother studying IMO. Curves grade at the end. Don't take if you don't have to.

Had her for both mgt and communications. Sometimes she is a little unstructured about how hard her tests or material really is. But she always makes sure to correct herself to ensure her students success. She also doesnt care about the guidlines as a teacher or reputation. Her only objective is her students learn and succeed. Which is very nice.

Really interesting, great sense of humor. Yeah, you'll have to work and show up to class, get over it. Very rewarding, I'm glad I took her, she knows her stuff. Cool lady.

She's not a bad teacher but she changes her outline every semester, her tests are hard and the papers are graded way too hard. The group project takes up more time than you can imagine... In class assignments almost everyday so you must show up... But the in class assignments help your grade a lot!

tests were crazy hard but other than that the class is pretty easy. she does curve at the end, you get bonus points for attendance, and there's a weekly group assign which offset the tests. bit intimidating in the beginning, but real down to earth. classes are set as more of a discussion than a lecture. she does assign a big project. no final exam

I had BUS3010 and MGT3830 with her. She was like 2 completely different people in each class. She was very laid back in BUS3010, the class was easy, attendence didn't matter. But then I got to MGT3830 which is tough. Attendence is must, the tests are pretty hard and the material stinks. She does know the material, it's just a hard class.

Great teacher if you take advantage of her knowledge in the business world. Ask questions and speak to her after class. Follows the textbook, even though she may not agree with what it says. Test questions are from the pool of questions created by the textbook authors so it's advisable to study the textbook and not necessarily your notes.
