Comment:

Professor Malsky is really nice and helpful. I am taking this course just for my AP perspective and I am not good at music at all. As long as you go to the labs, follow instructions, and seek help when you don't understand you will do well in the class. He is considerate of non-music majors. Overall, an awesome professor!

Comment:

I took this class for my AP and I'm loving it. Half-lecture, half-lab (working with Macs and GarageBand). Editing music is so much fun and Malsky is really easy, helpful, and loves creativity. There is a final exam though, but the editing assignments count most, so it should be an easy A if you're creative. Plan to spend serious time in the lab.

Good teacher in what I considered a challenging class due to lack of much prior knowledge on the subject. Extremely helpful and understanding. Quizzes were tough, but he scaled well.
