She's truly one of the nicest professors I've ever had and she genuinely does her best to make sure you pass. However, even with that in mind, the class is very hard for beginners. I joined the class without ANY prior knowledge of the French language and it put me behind my peers. Also if you skip you WILL fail, no questions asked.

Comment:

Mme Morretti is the best French professor that I've had at Ohio University. She is such a sweet lady and really cares about her students (plus she is super interesting!). Even though I went through a really rough semester with my mental health, she was always so nice and happy to help me get back on my feet. Plus she brought candy to our final ;)

Madame Moretti is one of my favorite teachers I've ever had. She speaks in French the entire class time which helps you learn quickly (don't worry, you'll catch on), and explains everything thoroughly using pictures and games to help you learn. She is funny and interactive. Participation matters. Take french with her, c'est très bien!

Comment:

Mme Moretti is one of the nicest, most caring professors I've ever met. She gives great feedback, and replies to emails within 20 minutes. She makes great slideshows for lecture. Although you can miss 9 classes (with grade penalization), I'd recommend just coming to all of them. Her lectures are fun and easy to follow, so its worth showing up.

She is a great professor. She is really patient and she understands how difficult it is to learn French, and even helps by trying to relate it back to English. There are quizzes but she tells you exactly what they're over. She talks softly sometimes so you have to listen! She really is a great teacher who switches up every class.

She was one of the best professors I've ever had. She wanted to see you succeed and was very helpful inside and outside of class. Just make sure you do the homework she assigns(its not that hard) and go to class. Exams are super easy and compositions are a breeze. If you can, take French with her!

She is just the best. The courses are taught entirely in french though, so if you want to keep up on things you need to pay attention, when she brings up the syllabus. She goes out of her way to look things up for you and is very good with responding to emails. Super nice, very pretty.

Was a super nice and sweet prof. If you have to take French, TAKE IT WITH HER. She is one of the easier graders (though the class was still difficult). You have 3 in class compositions and get to use your textbook and dictionary. Switched up activities in class between short films, songs, games, and activities that interacted class. Not too bad.

I have taken two french classes with her now and I really enjoy her class. She is hard and makes you work for your grade, but I think that is how learning a foreign language should be. Go to class. More than 3 times missed and you lose points off your grade.

She's a great teacher! I hadn't taken French in 2 years and was expecting to not be able to follow along but she was very clear and helpful. The PowerPoint presentations vary a lot, so it's not boring. She's funny and nice and I actually ended up enjoying the class a lot!

She is an absolutely wonderful teacher. Extremely friendly and fun, and her classes are so organized they're like a well oiled machine! Uses a lot of French stories, songs and movies to help teach. It's not necessarily an easy class - it's challenging - but she is a very fair grader and more than willing to help. Take a class with her if you can!

i just needed one more french class and i was expecting to be bored out of my mind and struggling through the class, like i did in 213 with another prof. however, that's not the case. dr. moretti-coski is so helpful and clear; she grades easily too. she made this last french class the most enjoyable. i liked that she used powerpoints too

I hate french with a passion, but she made it bearable. If I had actually studied I probably would have done better. She met with me after class a few times and explained it to me. Her grading was fair. It doesn't matter if I pass or fail this quarter, either way I'll retake 212 with her or try to get into her 213 class. She is a nice person :D

Professor Moretti-Coski is so much fun and is such a good teacher, her goal is primarily for her students to understand and learn an appreciation for the French language and culture I hope i will be able to have her as a teacher in my future, thank you Professor Morretti for a great first college french expirience If you can get in her class do it
