If you are not passionate about portfolio management, by all mean do not take this class. Tons of work, tough grader, and she doesn't really reply to emails. Pay attention in class and you will see her materials are real good. Favorite professor at Babson.

She is extremely unreasonable, and she likes bluffing. DO NOT take her class because you will learn NOTHING. I do not know why someone thinks they learned stuff from her class because no one has learned anything in my class. She is not helpful and she never replies your emails. The worst professor I ever had in my life.

The most work I have had to do for a class at Babson but also learned the most.. Many complain she cant teach and is too hard. She puts in the syllabus in bold this class really will require 2 plus hours per class of homework. She is fair, gives extensions etc. Whatever you put into this class you get out, if you dont prepare you wont learn

She's one of the best professors at Babson by far. She requires a lot of work, but the material isn't excruciatingly difficult. The class is an open, learning environment. Rarely gives lectures. Excellent

The materials/readings she hands out are great, but she is very confusing to follow. She tries to make the material easy, but in the end she just ends up confusing the class.

Very difficult to follow. Very condescending. She talks and only wants to hear herself comment on what she just said. You will learn nothing in her class. Unkempt looking.

Prof. Harrington is one of the best professors I have had at Babson. She does a nice job of creating an open and comfortable learning evironment.
