If you have never taken physics in high school or never been exposed to the subject before, I would steer clear of this professor. The lectures are short and all over the place and never shows bigger picture ideas and never shows how the topics relate . The tests are long and grueling and lots of traps in them . Too much busy work in this class

She is very helpful. Her material is very clear, easy to understand. Doing homework will help you do well on tests. She give a lot of extra credit to enrich your knowledge.Earning A is not hard in her class. Recommend her for PHY II

Comment:

Although she does try to help and explain things, she leaves something to be desired in clarity. That being said, she makes up for it by giving lots of extra credit/take home test portions. Honestly, I think she's too nice even. She's also very flexible about turning things in. Taking her for Physics 2, and I'd highly recommend her.

It is a self taught class it is hard to understand what she is talking about if you actually want a teacher to teach you don't take her she is very nice but this class requires a lot of work if you want to pass do the hw and make sure you know the formulas!

Do the homework problems she assigns, use the solutions manual to check your answers, demand from yourself that you UNDERSTAND every problem, and you will ace every test. Dr. Lee is very kind, very reasonable and cares a lot of about the subject and the success of her students. Great professor.

A very fair and balanced system she uses in which your effort is directly proportional to your grade. Foundations of each subject in this class will be stressed. TIP: understand all formulas completely if you dont feel like doing optional homework and you'll do fine on the test. Just use common sense.

I really struggled - not necessarily her fault. She is very sweet, most of time pretty well understood, but concepts alone don't always help the pieces fall into place. Labs very easy, DO THE HOMEWORK and be prepared for more than her 10+ hours of study per week unless you are a wiz kid.

Dr. Lee is awesome. She stresses concepts though do not try to do every problem in the book thinking that it will help you out. You will have to understand what your doing. READ the book. DO the example probs in the book!!!

Dr. Lee is the BEST Physics professor in Duval County, hands down. She is clear with subject matter, great explanations in class, homework relevant to her class work, and very helpful outside of class . I took her for Physics 2 in Spring 09 and she was much better than my PHY 1 professor at UNF. She tests fair ( not easy). Study and you'l be OK.

I have taken Dr. Lee for Physics I and Physics II. She is a very kind and caring teacher. She goes over the material and what needs to known for the exams well, but it is physics and you need to study a lot. Her exams are not easy by any means. You need to learn the material very well and be ready to spend alot of time studying.

Very sweet lady. You will be tested on concepts and only concepts. Homework and tests are not much related. Better off teaching yourself. Only problems she goes over are example problems in the book. I studied hard in this class, and reached out for help from her, and all she did was discourage me.
