WOW I see a lot of negative comments. This teacher is brilliant and not only booksmart but common sense wise as well. One of the best teachers I have had so far. You may fail every test but if you are stressing about that you are too stupid to realize its all about the extra credit. Show interest. Awesome guy!!

Impossible to understand, not only does he mumble ridiculously but he does not know how to bring it down your level. He makes up his own curriculum, even using a book that he wrote as text. You have to print out the book because it is not published yet; plus, the book is just as hard to understand as he is. His tests are hard also.

I am pretty sure I did poorly on all the test, but being in class and doing extra credit assignment allow me to finish class with a A. Sign up for all debates and you should get a good grade.

Definitely one of USI's worst teachers. Mumbling, ranting, very vague and mundane videos are among his arsenal of teaching. The only pro concerning this professor is his knowledge concerning ethics.

Oh man, talk about weird. I was sure I was going to drop the course after bombing the first test, but if you go to class and do extra credit you can get an A or B. Just try and stay awake

I dont even know where to start..... He is very different and smart, so smart I didn't understand 75% of the things he was talking about. I did not buy the book and got a 45% or less on every test BUT I went to every class and did every extra credit and got a C. I didn't learn anything except for the material stated in debates.

This professor seems loopy. Hard to hear (even miked). He mumbles a lot. The tests are off the wall (random facts from the textbook - which he wrote!) The textbook is just as difficult to understand as he is. Yes, he gives a lot of extra credit, but I feel I've wasted money on this one.

Dr. D is very knowledgable on the content matter. Yes. His tests are very hard. But if you read the chapters you'll do okay. Also, even if you do poorly on tests he offers a TON of extra credit. It is almost impossible to get lower than a C as long as you come to class and do the extra credit!!

I took him for Metaphysics. He was also my advisor. I liked his style of teaching and his RIDICULOUSLY high level of intelligence. WARNING: If you are a student who wants a normal cut and dry class you won't like him. You have to go to class, take your brain out of your everyday and just soak up all he has to say, then put it together later.

this teacher is smart, but he doesn't know how to translate his knowledge into away that students that have never taken ethics before can understand. avoid him if possible, but if you get him, do all extra credit and sign up for every debate, that way you can walk out of the class with a c or b

He's a really cool guy, very interesting and all. His problem is that the bulk of his in-class material will never be on the test. The bit he does go over is hard to fallow. You're best off reading his notes and the parts of the book he teaches from.

The information you debate in this class is very interesting, but he grades VERY arbitrarily! Then he'll tell you there really isn't a right or wrong answer, so you have to decifer for yourself what hes looking for...??? I think he has some health issues(kinda sad) and he's a bit weird, but aren't all Phylosophy Professors???? Hint, CLARIFY ANSWER

He is a bit strange! He talks to himself and back pedals a lot, if you pay attention and skim over the book the tests aren't too bad, and he gives a bunch of extra credit!

Brilliant man! Deep thinker, and you will think more deeply too, so keep an open mind in class. Plenty of extra credit for that A. Speak up, speak out, ask questions! Tests are difficult, but with all the extra credit, an A is easy! I took a lot from this class into the rest of my life! Fantastic, highly recommend!

Drebushenko is a very nice professor although he could be on the cover of sickly man magazine. Overall his classes are easy if you try. He's pretty cool despite what some people say about him. If you give him a chance you'll see he's alright.

Comment:
Dr. Drebushenko may be a very knowledgable person however, very unprofessional. The fall semester of 2006 has been a total joke. He missed class constantly without letting us know, so we wasted our time coming to campus. A health issue kept him from teaching. We have a new professor that has been assigned to our class. DON'T TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!

WORST TEACHER EVER! He never shows up for class and still fails everyone! So you choose: either pay a whole lot of money to fail a class or choose a decent professor where you might actually get your moneys worth!
