Great professor. Extremely responsive and reliable, and overall very nice. Not a ton of work, and she knows what she's talking about. One of those teachers you hope is teaching the next class you're required to take so you can take her again.

I've taken Professor Rywalt for about 4 classes now. I go out of my way to schedule my classes with her when available. I find her lectures to be thorough and engaging, requiring active involvement. She paces the class and her lectures based on how well the students are responding to the material. Always makes herself available for extra help/tutor

Rywalt is one that you must really consider taking, because she is really passionate about her fields of study. Although, sometimes we clashed, I would not hesitate when selecting her as my professor again. So be ready to expand your lazy thinking and enjoy the ride of knowledge :) PS. Datz wuz up!

She plays favorites and does not explain the material well at all. The entire class was confused about what we were doing and it really reflected in our labs and test grades... yet she did nothing about it. Also, there needs to be some kind of syllabus because due dates constantly change and it's all utter chaos.

If a professor for any reason gives off the impression they don't like you, it's because you are a horrible excuse for a student, and maybe person. I'm a DeVry grad that transfered to Rutgers, just imagine how much the professors wouldn't like you here! Sorry but that one comment is rediculous.

Hands down the best CIS professor at DeVry. She knows many aspects of the curriculum and is genuinely concerned with student progress. That being said, she will NOT give you a grade. You have to earn it. Those who are not fond of earning grades will say she favors people. Not true at all.

I am in my third class with Rywalt this tri, and she is awesome. She doesn't favor students any more than any other professor here. No, she will not pass the lazy students who don't show up or do any work (Gee, maybe THAT'S why she doesn't like you...)
