Worst online class I've ever taken. She grades her essays so hard and they have ridiculous criteria. Also, there is so many lecture videos and discussion boards.

While I got an A- in this class, I would never take it again with this professor. She assigned homework the week of her final, which was content not even included in the final. She takes her essays way too seriously and never responds to emails. You can get a good grade in the course but be prepared to be frustrated with how she handles grading.

This professor likes to treat all of her students like children. She is way too controlling and takes this class way too seriously. I don't think she realizes we are all college students. She also never responds to emails and isn't very helpful. Class is an easy A but I will never take another class from her again.

Deb is really great and the class is super easy and very eye opening. I learned a lot from taking the class. Tests are all online and you get two attempts at each test. Hw consists of one personal journal entry (5 pts) and one reading response (10 pts) each week. Overall a great class and really got me interested in HAES as a new lifestyle.

Deb was a great teacher and her class was relatively easy. Journals and reading responses are due every Friday but other than that no other homework. 3 online tests and a final group video project is all of the assignments! Easy class if you go and take notes.

Love Deb, she's awesome! Kindof babies her students though, but I didn't mind. Class was a piece of cake, I didn't open my textbook once, and got a 98% on the final (not kidding). Definitely recommend this course, I actually changed my major to Nutrition after taking it.

Deb is a great teacher. She throws anecdotes into her lectures to make them more interesting and she has an entertaining personality. Taking a basic nutrition class first will make the class a little easier. She does a great job of describing the basic physiology involved in nutrition and sports performance and how it all works together.

Deb's class is fun and interesting, and very challenging. She has high expectations but will always make time to help you. Her tests and case studies are tough so be ready to study and go in and get help if you need it. Studying for the medical terminology quizzes is time consuming but not difficult. You will learn a lot in this class.

Challenging courses. If you have a question make sure you look it up before going to her office to ask her about it. She is big on trying to scare lower level nutrition majors, but don't take her serious. You'll do fine in her class and become a decent dietitian even if you only get a C in clinical. She eases up on upper division students.

Deb acts TOO sweet. it's obvious it's an act and it makes my head hurt to hear her sugar-coated ****. I can never respect a PowerPoint teacher, and she uses PowerPoint ALL the time. the class is confusing for non-bio/nutrition majors, but you can still get a good grade. I just didn't learn anything.
