This class was a very discussion based & research information on your own class. Dr. Nix-McCray was a wonderful professior. I took her on line, it you do your work and read, you will get an A. I really wished I took this class in person she was great. She honesty sent reminders when assignments are due. I go to rate my professor all the time to make sure I want a certain professor. Take the class if you can you wont regret.

She really ruined my experience with online classes. Her directions were unclear and she was very hard to get a hold of. When you did get a hold of her, she was no help. Her essays were all graded based off safe assign. It was a summer class and she drilled us with work. I barely passed with an A, because she didn't even read my final paper.

I love this professor. I took her online at Eastern Oregon for Sociology 204 and Social Psychology. I like the lessons. I had a real tough quarter outside of school for spring 2017 and she worked with me . I really appreciate her, and enjoyed the coursework.

She was one of the best professors I've had so far. She responded right away. She made sure that I understood the material. I have been skeptical about online classes due to 2 bad experiences however; I was refreshed that I was able to get someone so great. I took a summer class as well and with the short period of time we had she did a great job.

She is a very very sweet lady that will help a lot. I took an online class with her over the summer, and it was very easy. I didn't need much help, but when I did she tried her best to help me and let everyone know she was available. A fairly easy grader, but be ready to write a handful of papers and discussions with very easy quizzes.

This is a great class if you are willing to read a lot and if you are looking for a class where you can procrastinate the whole way through and still get an A. However, if you are looking for a teacher who communicates with you and helps you this is not the class to take. She sounded available, but when I needed help she did not return my calls.

I absolutely loved her! Her lectures were always interesting, and I do not even like sociology. She assigns a lot of stuff, but she always reminds everybody when things are due, and her instructions are clear. She is amazing, and I recommend her.

Comment:

Not only was this class easy, but she kept us up to date with the assignments due each week. These announcements made it easy to keep up and remember when papers, discussions, and quizzes were due. The quizzes consist of 5 questions and she allows you to use the book. The material was also interesting along with the assignments.

Loved having her as my teacher. Always on time, and always there to help along with giving great feedbackhelp to students and making the class interesting and fun. Very funny as well, which kept me entertained. Sticks to the book but has broad discussions and gets everyone involved. Best class this semester.
