Comment:

The class itself isn't easy but he does his best to help, especially in an online class. I had trouble understanding a lot of the concepts but I was also pretty busy with work and other classes. If you actually want to learn management accounting I wouldn't recommend taking this professor or this class online.

Teaches too fast, but answers questions. He will openly mock your question if he deems it as stupid, though. Honestly could've done without the lessons and just learned with the book and homework but it's nice to ask questions in class.

Super relaxed guy, it's a shame this upcoming Spring will be his last semester. As for Accounting, do the readings, and use the practice exams to help with the tests. Just use the practice exams... they are your friend when it comes to the exams! The lecture notes are super helpful too. Also, DO THE HOMEWORK! It's lengthy but worth it.

One of the most challenging classes I have taken yet. Super time consuming, and if you're not willing to work hard and put time/effort into the class, you WILL become frustrated with the outcome. Don was a good man, with good intentions, but I didn't find his lectures very beneficial. Meeting 1 on 1 with him is when I got the answers I needed.

Second semester with Curfman. He's a good teacher and very willing to help. He likes to discuss current events and offers advice/skills you will be able to use in the real world. Tries to get students involved at MCC.Its an independent class, he leaves it up to you to get the work done and has reasonable deadlines. Lots of extra credit at the end!

Good teacher, follow his sylabus and you will get an A. Offers enough extra credit to raise your grade. Willing to answer all questions, available for help outside of class too. Very likeable person, likes to talk current events. If you're into the military at all, he'll love you!

Curfman is an OK teacher but, If he talks about NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY'S UBUS class tell him he is a moron. He told our class in 2005 to go to NIU to take this UBUS 310, 311. If he talks about this tell to shut up. The class is really hard. Its 9 credit hours and it combines Managment, Marketing, Finance, and OMIS together. DON'T BELIEVE HIM

Don is a wonderful teacher! He has no problems going to him even with help on his take home tests. He doesn't leave anyone behind. He thoroughly enjoys teaching and it shows. I highly recommend taking his class
