Comment:

Glass's main focus is lecturing, not teaching. The study guides are not useful. The average in my class for every test was around 70%. There is no homework throughout the semester, and the tests do not always match the material covered in class. I have never failed a test until taking Glass's class. I do not recommend this professor.

Comment:

His lectures are interesting, and he relates the information to real life. He doesn't give homework. The exams are long and cover a lot of information, but he gives you a list of study questions that are good preparation. You have to work hard to pass this class: read the material, take notes in class, study.

tests are hard. i use to love biology but not anymore i have never failed a class in my life... he made this class very hard for us the class average was 61% on our second test yes he was nice enough to give extra credit but i feel that homework in this class was needed. i actually wanted homework. his lectures are good but i don't recommend him.

Be prepared to study, if you want an A. His tests are hard, but he goes over all the material in his lectures. He also posts study guides before each test. If you have questions, he is has accessible office hours and promptly responds to emails. I studied a lot for this class, however I learned so much.

Professor Glass was amazing at lectures and provided all of the information on the test in the lectures! The only downfall was he only gives Exams, no homework or class work so you have to do your best to get high test scores.

I took Cell Bio with Glass in the summer. I was super nervous, I had been out of college for 15 years. If you write everything down that he writes on the board, attend lecture and study you will do well!

This professor is great! He writes everything down on the board for you to take notes. If it is on the test, it will be put up on the board. He wants his students to succeed. His tests aren't easy, but you study everything he writes down you should be good to go!

Comment:

Great professor. Tests are pretty hard and you will fail the class if you do not study. I studied 3-4 hours for every test and made A's on all of them. He does not give extra credit but does give bonus questions on all the tests. Glad I had this professor for cell bio. Would take him again and recommend him to anyone taking biology.

Wonderful instructor, he is overall bery lenient. He covers everything on his few tests in lecture. He offers bonus points and allows you to argue questions on tests. Very helpful in and out of class.

Took this class over the summer break and made an A. This professor is straight forward and answers any questions you have. Take notes of what he says and writes on the board and you should be able to do fine on his test. All five test were multiple choice and we didn't do any other work. Just study the material he covers.

Great instructor that is able to explain and get the point across without rambling. You will need to study and take notes for the tests but you will be fine. I did not buy the textbook. He provided PP notes and test study review questions.

His tests are difficult only if you put it off. Always know the life cyles and everything he writes on the board. It is a lot of material but so much fun. Lab was great lots of hands on and dissecting. He was always very helpful everytime I had a question. You better like to study becuase his test require losts. They are more difficult than most.

Very hard tests, and not helpful when asked on tips for studying. Doesn't explain things well. If you're an average student, find another professor. If you're a science wiz, go ahead and take Glass.

I had him for Zoology. He was a great professor and made the class interesting. His tests are somewhat difficult but if you study you would do fine. His Zoo lab was fun, but pretty hard. I came out of Zoo with a B, which I didn't even really deserve. So he curves grades a lot which helps. Great instructor and I would for sure take him again!

He is a great teacher but the class is very hard. He will patiently explain anything and he enjoys what he teaches. You can even asks questions during class! I never did figure out the best way to study for his tests but I did get an A.

Enjoyed lectures. Study guides are available and he does have reviews. Material is complicated but Mr. Glass does a great job of explaining it. Would take another class with him.

Mr. Glass is incredible there is no other way to describe him. He goes out of his way to help students. He is one of the best professors at RSU.
