I enjoyed his class. I got the hang of the note taking. He would pull up a person from online to give a visual. I started to bring in my laptop. I went to the same sites as he did. All you do is a copy and paste whatever he pulls up on his computer screan. Then highlight what he discusses, cut the rest and your notes are complete before you leave.

Dr. Culver is amazing. He is so sweet and funny. He makes politics enjoyable. He is hilarious and you will want to come to class. Do NOT buy the book. Tests are easy and come straight from the notes. This class is an easy A.

Culver is the man!! Iam not much into politics but he makes it fun and interesting.. He is hilarious and makes time go by fast .. NO HOMEWORK !! 3 tests the whole semester and they are relatively easy... Also dont buy the text you dont need it save yourself money

Words cannot describe Dr. Culver! He is funny and cares about his students. Genuinely one of the nicest people ever! BUT DON'T BUY THE BOOK! The tests are over lectures only. Anyone who doesn't like his class has a serious problem!

Comment:

Dr. Culver is an excellent professor. He obviously knows a lot about what he's teaching and cares a lot about the students. Don't bother buying the text book; his tests are very short and are based solely on the lectures he gives in class, so take good notes. Taught 101 too. He's very funny. It's an interesting class, even for a non poli-sci major.
