Comor is by far my favourite prof yet. He is so insightful and actually brings value to the classroom. Rather than just spewing textbook information and telling you what other people have said about topics, he gives input to each topic. He opens the door for critical thought in every way. COMOR PLEASE TEACH MORE CLASSES!

Comor is really organized and easy to listen to. Some of the material can be dry, but he does a good job of explaining things. Overall pretty interesting. Very reading heavy though.

Really loved this course and actually drove me to pursue a degree in global studies and MIT. The lectures were great and super interesting (readings were heavy but also interesting) and he is super nice and accessible outside of class.

Professor Comor is very intelligent, and opened up my eyes to what is going on in the world. Global Comm is by far one of the best classes I have taken in MIT.

Comor is increadibly intelligent and the course material is very interesting--and important to MIT students. However, I wish this class were at the 3000 level or higher, because it is very hard to get anything above a 65. VERY hard. Nearly impossible.

Comment:

A very interesting teacher, who will provide you with material which you can use in many other courses. A tough, blunt marker, he is only repetitive in the sense that he wants to ensure you understand every point he's making. Intensive but rewarding, and recognizes hard work himself.

This course is definitely NOT a bird course. You are going to have to read ALL of the readings (which are brutally long) and go to class (3hrs/each). Prof Comor is a nice guy and very passionate. If you are not into politics, do NOT take this course cause that's all it is about. Material overlaps other MIT courses a lot.

Comor is amazing! This class is a must take in MIT. It really opens your eyes and Comor is hilarious, and really knows what he is talking about. Must read and go to class every week to do well.

This class is one of the best I have taken in university. Really challenging, but nonetheless a great learning experience. Prof. Comor is an awesome teacher and explains things really well...but can be quite blunt and rude if you piss him off. Just some advice. MUST go to class and do readings.
