Dr. Paulin cares about her students and as long as you come to class & pay attention the material will make sense. You have to study on your own, as well. Complete the practice problems she gives out and go to her office hours, trust me you won't regret it. The more work you put into the course, the easier it becomes.

Dr. Paulin is a very caring and nice professor. However, the material in statistics was where it ended. Her teaching style did not align well with my style of learning and her method of explaining material was not clear.

Dr. Paulin is a great teacher. She is funny and quirky at times and I really enjoyed her classes. She is definitely no Easy A and you have to put in a lot of work and keep up with her notes & readings to follow along. She is very helpful outside of class and often open for office hours. Very good at what she does. Nice lady

She makes sure that you know what your doing and she gives you 2 of her last two tests. She gives you all of the materials to do well in her class. To get an A you only need a 92 but the material is very intensive so you have to go to class because the book is awful. If you go to class and study you'll get a A-B

Very good teacher - takes the time to explain difficult topics to make them easy to understand. Relates the material to real world events that we can relate to which makes the class more interested. Not a ridiculous amount of work but the take home portions of the exams are time consuming.

The class is not extremely difficult and Dr. Paulin is interesting and engaging. She allows take home exams and problem sets which make it easier. As a previous person stated she does not seem to know anything outside of her prepared lecture. Overall she is a good proffesor though

I never took economics before and after taking her class i felt it was really interesting. You have to pay attention and do the work. You have to study but Proff Paulin is one of my favorite teachers at LaSalle. Class isn't boring.

Although she is a genuinely nice person, she has a very bad habit of putting too much subject matter on the test. To do well in this class, I feel like you must study everyday like the next day is the test. does not go over some concepts as throughly as she should, which does not help you on her test. she is hard.

i liked the wau she explained things, but her grading was horrible. if your answers are not exactly like hers, you're not getting an A. she asks for too much detail. it's totally unnecessary. her grading is extremely subjective, and if you ask her anything outside of her lesson plan she does not know the answer. she was really nice though.
