Mr. Davis is a unique kind of person. He is very smart and has a story for everything. I believe he grades fairly but I got mostly A's on everything. If you pay attention and come to class every day and do your assignments it's an easy A. The only thing about him is he does not give clear responses. Hard to follow. Very nice guy.

A very articulate and thoughtful man. Was extremely knowledgable on a wide range of issues. Put everything we read into its historical context, gave illuminating background information. I found his personal stories incredibly uplifting, you can't buy that kind of experience. Not just your average boring academic. Take this class if you want to lear

very good teacher, knows what he's talking about and shows passion for his literature. plus he knows a lot more than just english, adn all of his stories are interesting. he's one of my favorites. one of the most intelligent men i know
