Very caring Professor towards his students, really wants us to learn. Comes to class prepared. Is the guy to know for contracts. Has a wonderful reputation throughout Campus. Makes students feel comfortable. For ex, I was late and apologized, he was very nice about it. When I registered for his class even the Registrar likes him, that says alot!

Prof. Monserud was absolutely my favorite law-school professor. Funny, insightful, clear as a bell, this guy has memorized the entire UCC with all the attendant case law, and he shares that vast knowledge freely. I wish I'd had the opportunity to take more classes with him. He's not the easiest grader on the planet, but you LEARN SO MUCH from him.

Never though Contracts could be fun? Monserud will prove you wrong. An incredibly endearing man that genuinely cares about his students and wants them to learn. He's always boosting your confidence and is a very uplifting person. The material is very tough but he helps you trudge through it each step of the way. Excellent prof, one of NESL's finest

OMG this man is the best human bieng on this planet! first of all he makes contracts a blast, not sure how, secondly he explains things with such ease that youll understand something that may have taken you forever in2 minutes tops! this man is the best professor i have ever had, hes kind, funny, smart and really respectful and courteous. So much fun! Passionate about the material. Gives out agendas before class so you know exactly what will be covered that day. Gives you lots of outline handouts that are helpful. You will laugh, a lot. Highly suggest taking him.

Incredible human being. The kind of person that made you want to be a lawyer. Had him for evening division contracts. He is fair. He will call on you, but he will give you notice when your time is coming so you can be prepared when he calls on you in class. Tremendous command of law and always learning more.

This is a love/hate professor. Granted, most love him, but if you don't like his style you are going to have a REALLY hard time. He's a little "all over the place." If you can keep up you'll learn, but you might just end up very frustrated. His passion for the subject matter is unmatched and I've heard he's amazing if you meet w/ him in his office.
