Comment:
Gintole was very soft spoken to the point of our TA's having to reteach what he said. If you want an easy A class then take this, but it will put you behind all of your peers in other architecture classes. Your drawing are elementary level and the only thing that was beneficial were our weekly postcard assignments. Very easy grader.

Comment:
If you need an easy semester, Gintole is the one to take. However, the consequences are that you will fall behind your peers and have nothing decent to put in your portfolio. Hes never available to critique your work and the assignments have no direction. Dont worry, youll most likely get an A if you turn something in.

His curriculum is very vague and the projects were always dealt in an abstract manner, yet he wanted us to keep in mind codes and ADA. Majority of the class ended up with an A; even those who never showed up and had mediocre work. He tried, but ultimately, his feedback did not help me progress in my education and made me doubt my career choice.

Professor Gintole is a teacher that cares greatly about his students and is clearly passionate about architecture. He was a great asset to me during as well as after the courses were completed. He helped me get into Ivy League Graduate school for which I am forever indebted to him as well as other great faculty at UTA.

If at all possible, do not take classes from this professor. He does not know how to teach and doesn't even care. He is impossible to communicate with and is very condescending.

Do not take any classes from this man. He does not teach you anything. Everyone I know who took a class from him, wound up falling behind their peers who took classes with other profs.
