Mr. Maistrellis is genuinely invested in his students' success, v. friendly, enthusiastic, hilarious, incredibly thoughtful, and has a great moustache. He's an absolute genius, but makes you feel more intelligent after talking to him, not idiotic by comparison.

Comment:

What an amazing tutor. Made a huge impression on me. Remembers his students, even after many years. Very free with his time b/c he desires to help students as much as he can. Extremely funny, bright, committed to SJC. I was so lucky to have him as a tutor. Excellent resource for Greek, as well as the Shakespeare we studied.

Maistrellis is incredible. He's humble in his brilliance. He conducted Seminar with excitement and grace such as I've never seen. He's funny without being flippant. Teaches as much outside of class as in class. Wonderful guy, wonderful tutor. Everyone should be so lucky as to have him for a class.
