Super nice, he understands many people are just taking it to fill a general education requirement so he leaves out unfamiliar jargon and teaches to make sure anyone can understand. His quizzes are very clear and he gives study guides. Always updating your grades and welcomes disputes on quiz grading. He's clearly passionate and smiles a lot.

This class was quite frustrating, to me because of Gregs way of teaching. He places a large portion of your grade on tests and quizzes, which is great for people with photographic memories and music majors who already know some of the info, but not so much for others. Expect to take an intensive quiz once a week and to have to study a lot.

Dr. Moore can really bring jazz down to an ameture level without dumbing it down. he is a real jazzer and you can tell. he knows the lingo and can use it without sounding dumb. he is a greatful dead fan which is also awesome
