Lecture notes are the only source of content. Content isn't too hard, pretty much only tests on theory not so much math. No assignments only three midterms where top two equal 40% and 60% final. Tests are short so each question is worth a lot of final grade. Overall good lecturer and nice guy

Really good in that he teaches right from the textbook and goes over examples in class. Tricky course as he doesn't allow formula sheets on exams (lots of practicing) but there are no surprises. Reason enough to take him again.

Prof told us at the beginning of the class that it was a boring and did a good job of confirming that often mumbling and looked disinterested most of the time. Midterms were hard with some big curveballs.

I've had him twice for I/O and Econometrics. He mumbles a ton in lecture and I found his lectures to be very boring except for bits of examples that are crucial for his exams. The tests are difficult, but if you practice old midterms you should be fine.

I think he's great. He gives really interesting real world examples of the material and he loves making fun of Microsoft. I am greatly enjoying taking his class.

Thille is quality but a bit on the hard side, but sounds better than other prof who sometimes teaches this course. Puts lecture notes online, but he only writes the important examples during class on overhead. Only bad part is hes MT40/Final60 course format and he uses Macs. Go to every class!
