Class size was undoubtedly smaller than for undergrad, which may have contributed to an excellent experience. It was a tough class, but he did his best to make sure people understood. As long as you listen and communicate, you can do well and learn a lot. But whatever you do, DON'T forget the readings, they are not gratuitous.

If you go to class, pay attention, and complete the assigned work you will be fine. Attendance counts for grades in this class so you need to be there. Don't wait until the end of term to finish the reflections, you won't remember anything. Nassaji likes it when you ask the guest speakers questions. Slow paced, material can be dry... stay awake!

Dr. Nassaji gave us many opportunities to discuss our ideas with pears instead of just lecturing at us. We learned theory for two months, then finished with presentations. We didn't really get anything we did back until classes were over, so it was hard to know how we were doing. If we were doing something wrong, we found out when grades were given

A really nice guy. Although, sometimes his methods are a little hard to follow. Make damn sure you do the readings or else you'll be lost for tests/discussions. He never did give us our marks back for assignments/presentations, but if you go to class regularly, you'll do well.

He sticks with text very much so as long as you can eat the whole book, you'll get an A for sure. Lots of HW. Not recommend for lazy person. A nice person but hard to communicate (don't try to negociate with him, you'll be disappointed)
