All I can say is UGH. What a horrible experience I had in this class. He was unclear in his expectations, opinionated and slanted to HIS way of interpreting material. Used inappropriate language and swearing in class and got ticked off when people complained. The weird thing was that he was somewhat charming which makes it hard to dislike the guy.

Writing 227 <Technical Writing> is a difficult course as it is, and Mr. smith did not make things a lot easier. He tends to be disorganised and unclear. He is usually availble for consultation and will try and work with you, but his unclarity can quickly lead to confusion if your not careful. Also, dont get behind in class.

WARNING: He told us this quarter, "you have to walk on water to get an A in this class." He is unprofessional. He wasted our time having us watch an anthropology film just because he appears in the film. It had nothing to do with the class. This professor has a big ego and it is tiresome to deal with. Steer clear of this instructor.

Older teacher who enjoys what he does. Has a good sense of sarcastic humor which I enjoy. Will make you work, but is a overall good teacher.
