Roten is a fantastic teacher. Be ready for lots of production hours and group project meetings outside of class. He makes you work for that grade, but overall the course is super great. He makes the dreaded lectures less boring.

I passed with a B, so I'm not saying this because I didn't do well. He is an ass. He has no problem telling you that you can't do something and won't succeed. He will then proceed to tell you that you don't work hard enough and throw tantrums. He's a diva and I wouldn't waste my time in his class ever again.

Yes, it doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eye- but his classes are information heavy and you need to keep up with it. He's got a fun teaching style that is very entertaining and makes you want to understand the subject at hand. He does often act out what he's trying to convey which is very useful and fun. Take his class but be prepared to work!
