Dr. Wu is great, she cares and genuinely wants her students to succeed and get better. For this class, it is a one-on-one voice lesson, so you have to show up, but if something comes up, just tell her, and she'll work around her schedule to help you. I had here for American Musical Theater and it sucked. I hated going to class because it was so boring but its an easy A. There's a midterm and final and she gives you the ques. and ans. before hand and 1 final project. The class is easy but boring because you can hardly understand her accent.

When you show up to class all she does is rip facts, which she doesnt explain at all or has no concept as to what they mean, and throws them on to a powerpoint presentation. Then she plays videos which she obviously downloaded from Youtube. There isn't a 7th grader alive who couldn't do what she does. Skip this joke of class and take someone else.

These other reviewers must be delusional or have a thing for asian women.This is by far one of the most incomprehensible professors in SJU. She cant even speak english.Her powerpoint presentations are ripped from the textbook and I think she doesnt even know what she's talking about.Her tests look like a scatterbrain threw a bunch of facts on paper

easiest class ever, and the most boring class ever. deffinitely take it for an easy A (she gives you the EXACT midterm and final with answers to study from). no laptops in class though so get used to staring at a wall for 3 hrs a week. literally no outside work at all.

Do Not take this class it is torture. u have to watch boring operas on your own time and write papers analyzing them. Yes her exams are easy since she provides u w/ the ?s & answers but its not worth it. Attendence counts. There r 2 test and 4 papers and one presentation.
