Jan is wonderful. Her 1st exam is hard, the memo exam isnt as bad as ppl say, and the final is 10% of your grade. The whole class is group work and your project is 40% of total grade. Take Jan because she is a sweetheart and really cares about students. #StraightUp take her class

This can be a fun class if you have the right people in your group. It's basically semester long group project the entire time. I enjoyed the class overall. Jan neither made it exciting nor boring. She's a very traditional teacher. DO NOT take MKT 291 as a sprint course...

Janice is very nice lady. She obviously has a passion about marketing research, which for the most part is just a bunch of statistics. Very old school teacher, so what you see is what you get. Memo test is difficult but not impossible. Will probably be your least favorite Marketing class due to the material though. Group project has been overdone.

SO boring I couldn't stand it. agree with below about her tests...very picky on "what she was looking for" even if the other side of the argument is completely logical.

She always has to be right, on exams puts questions that canbe argued, when u goto argue them she says "I understand ur point, but that's not what I wanted" Does not work w/ students, I wanted to boost my B to a B+ or A- and she said "nothing she could do." I didn't like her, even though I got a B in the class, maybe she didn't like me either!

Read the text! She really does test on both! My grade improved from a C to an A when I read the book pre-test. She's really nice, and always wants to meet with students.
