Comment:

Professor Jackson is a very organized professor he lets you know what you need to do in order to pass this class. However, I was not a big fan on how he lectures. I imagine he forgets he is speaking to (students) not (Accountants). I felt lost all the time and the only thing that was helping me was memorizing. I would not recommend him.

Comment:

This professor is very clear in what he needs and when assignments are due. He got back to me very quickly with answers to my various questions. This class is an easy A as long as you do the work. He wants his students to be successful.

Took this course for Computerized Accounting with Professor Jackson. Let me just say If you want to get an A, go find another professor who is rigged. This man grades so though, unless you're a full pledged accountant already it's almost impossible to get an A on this course. If you care about your GPA Avoid this class at all costs

Comment:

Dr. Jackson was amazing! Hes lectures are what you would expect on the test. There is a lot of homework but very easy to do and helps to understand better. The reviews are almost exactly whats on the test, he makes sure of that. Hes very organized the calendar is exactly what you will be doing. Very nice and respectful guy.

Great Professor! Very caring and provides reviews and checklists for your work. Always writes back through email, respectful and answers questions. Sends weekly emails with reminders and also gives great feedback. Definitely recommend.

I took Dr. Jacksons Accounting Class my first semester of college, and I was unsure if Id like business at all, but he managed to make the subject interesting to me and his teaching style helped me learn a lot about what I wanted to do for a career, and now Im confidently pursueing a Finance degree. One of my favorite professors.

Comment:

Accounting was a very tough subject for me. Prof Jackson explains the material in a fun way that helps you understand. Tests are mostly multiple choice and there are plenty of "gimme" questions. He was extremely nice and helpful, wish I could have taken him for accounting 1

He is a very organized and structured professor. I spent forever on reviews and homework assignments. If you have a short attention span, or are bad with numbers, tutoring is highly recommended (although I did not ever have time for tutoring... I wish I did).

Great professor, one of the best I've encountered. His class is super structures, he provides fill-in-the-blank notes and provides a review of everything you need to review for tests. Very nice guy, humble, cares a lot about his students. Wish every professor was like him - I'll definitely be taking him next semester. I've got an A so far.

Dr. Jackson is a great professor who really wants you to succeed. His lectures and class is very organized and is very easy to understand. He makes accounting so easy and able for anyone to understand. He breaks things down really easily and tests you on everything from his reviews and book. A solid professor who knows what he's doing.

Dr. Jackson is hands down the best prof. I have ever had. He genuinely cares about his students and wants them to succeed. No surprises. Very Clear. Homework is reasonable. Business oriented so no exceptions on deadlines. No extra credit. He will drop a homework and offers a cumulative final makeup exam.

Dr. Jackson has to be one of my favorite professor's at San Jac his class is very structured. His reviews help a lot for the exam no surprises, a total of 4 Exams and then there was a lot of homework but it was a 5 week course, overall if you study and make an effort, its not an easy A but its worth it! I would take him again! :)

Great Professor!!! Lecture are easy to understand. Grades depend on 4 test and cengage hw grades combine together as a test grade (1 hw each week going over the material learned). His test are exactly over the review that he gives before.. As long as you understand the problems in the homework and do the review the test should be similar.

One of the few professors or staff at San Jacinto that knows what they are doing. Dr. Jackson takes his class very seriously and you should too. He covers the material very well and is very easy to follow because his class is EXTREMELY structured. He has this down to a science but keeps it interesting. Show up every day and pay attention.

Great teacher! Gives handouts and goes threw the material, just have to fill in the blanks, Bring the Book!! Does examples from the book that help with the online Cengage HW which gives you 2 tries on each. 10pts on 3 test's from reading the Total Money Makeover-easy pts. If you don't go to class you will miss information from the handouts.

Dr. Jackson is a great professor! He is very helpful. I wouldn't recommend skipping his class. He gives you outlines that make his class easier; make sure you print them, they are a MUST. The homework is due every week. Tests are easy if you actually pay attention and his reviews are great! You won't regret taking his class.

Dr. Jackson is great! Online homework is due everyweek, and he gives helpful examples that help figure out the homework. The book is a must, and printing out your notes is a must! He made this class pretty easy.
