Comment:

Very interesting and informative teacher. Even though the class was at 7 A.M, I still managed to get an "A". She drops the lowest grade from a test when the final is better and if everyone fails to do a word problem she makes it as extra credit. Just do all assignments and do well on tests and you'll still get a great grade regardless of final.

Really good teacher, really helpful. The only people that didn't like her were kids just out of high school, because they didn't like to do the work. I'm sure that ALL of the negative comments about her are from children!

Took 125 and really struggled and ended up getting a B. There were tests where no one got an A. She really does teach you the concepts. I slept through 131, got 98%. Make it through her class any future classes will be easy. Great class to take Pass/No Pass. Also after a test stick around and she will grade and go over your test. Great teacher

Comment:

Dr.O'linger is a great teacher. I took her for the summer session and she is very good!. She explains the material perfectly. A summer session that requires one to work at a fast pace was just dwindled away by this teachers experience. I personally recommend her if you want to learn!

Dr. O'Linger is a good teacher, just misunderstood by her student's. I believe she is a good teacher, people don't understand the stress she carries. Try being in her shoes, work full-time, teach, and family. Students are ignorant to think she is difficult, try taking these classes at a University, then you will learn to appreciate her teachings.

She will tell you a thousand times that she is a PhD and she works for JPL. Like most teachers with advanced degrees she has a hard time teach an entry level class. She doesn't explain things very well and gets frustrated if you don't understand. She is a VERY lowkey person and her class can be slow and boring.

The thing I don't like the most about her is she takes a very long time to give back tests, even though she's only teaching one class. She encourages questions, but gets frustrated when you do. She kinda plays favorites too. Just get on her good side or she won't even act like you're in her class.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! If you are only taking math because it is a requirement and you just need a grade to move on, avoid this teacher! She missed class between 4-6 times (i dont remember) then picked up the pace to make up for her lost time! our class started packed (35+) were down to like 20 by semester end. Do not take! You've been Warned!

Was not good at math to begin with and did not do well in this class. The positive thing is that she gives you points for in class assignments and homework but tests and final are hard. She gets frustrated with students who ask questions.

Hard grader. Has an attitude problem. Does not want to explain. Hardest final ever. Does not show up to class. Alway tired. First few sessions let you go early.At the end rush you like there is no time. She is not clear at all.STAY AWAY! TOO MUCH HOMEWORK FOR NOTHING.I AM GOOD AT MATH. I ALWAYS GET A. I GOT A C. Attitude problem, that's 4 sure! she also get irritated when you ask way too many questions. right now i am gribbing the fact the last day of lecture she's not reviewing for the cummlitive review final. which is stupid. if you know math take this for an easy A. if you don't, then don't waste your time. she's a hypocrite asking for you ask question but gets irritated on the questions you ask. unfair tests.
