I had her for an honors college gen ed. She is very approachable and wants the best for all of her students. Some quizzes are a little difficult so make sure to study the material.

Comment:

I took Sociology of Gender with Professors Reger and Sanders and it was fun and interesting! Really great for a late night class at keeping students interested and involved. Extremely understanding and nice but attendance is mandatory. Use small quizzes, 2 papers and one group field trip (Hell ya) - NO EXAMS! Great class. I had loads of fun !!! :)

If you could wait to take this in the summer, do it! It's co-taught by George Sanders & it's so much fun! We go on field trips every week & write a 3 page paper on them. Not bad. There are weekly quizzes based on articles we read. Lowest paper & quiz grade dropped! No book needed. Not too bad of a grader. I would take another class with her!

I took a summer class that was co-taught by Professor Reger and one of the other fantastic Sociology professors and it was really a blast. We went on field trips, got to hear from some fascinating guest speakers, and I really wish I could've had more time to get to know Prof. Reger. She's an awesome professor.

Reger is a funny, great professor! Her class is pretty easy too, but not a good idea to sleep or mess around in her class. She respects you if you respect her and overall is very kind and helpful!

This class is extremely easy. As a premed student, I thought taking a class like this might help me somewhere down the line on an application. Although the subject puts me to sleep, she did make me laugh a few times with some of her examples. All three exams are online, she offers an extra credit essay which adds 5 points to an exam score.

This was one of the best classes i've ever taken. It was super difficult but I dont think i've learned as much in a single class as I did in this one. If you get the chance take it with her. You read the entire book but it's not busy work, it's useful reading.

Prof. Reger is a wonderful professor. The class is very easy. If you do all the readings (its not a lot) and take notes in class you will do fine. Active learning assignments are very easy, 1 is for E.C. 3 exams, all online. Very kind and knowlegable in sociology, and she responds to emails quickly. I definately recommend taking her class.

I really like Prof Reger. She makes the class atmosphere really comfortable and easy going. She is really funny and constantly cracks jokes. The class is pretty demanding, but Reger will let you know what she expects in every paper and is extremely clear. I definitely recommend taking her!!!!!!

I figured it out she has 2 personalities, y I dont know. What u want 2 know, mood swings, not helpful, unfriendly, unprofessional, and rude! Favoritism BIG TIME! Stuff that is hard she skims and the easy stuff she goes on and on about. If your forced 2 take her classes DO NOT DO MORE THAN 1 at the same time! Its unbearable reading her stuff OMG!
