This guy simple reads from the book. HE is very boring in class. Not much of a teacher more of just a reader of the text. Complete waste of time avoid this guy if their are other options for this course. You can tell he doesn't enjoy teaching and the proof is their from day one.

Very nice, very cool guy. VERY VERY easy, which can sometimes be a problem, but a nice easy prof to take to learn a little and not kill yourself.

I can't believe what everyone is writing. This was the worst class I have ever taken. He is very boring and unclear about what is important. This is the only class that I have EVER made a D in. He was nice, but he didn't teach. He read the book to the class and said only what he thought was important. The tests were very difficult.

He's really easy and he's boring unless you talk to him. If you engage him, he's won't bore you. Easy class if you do the study guides. He's retiring at the end of Spring 2005 though. Overall a very cool prof.

My beef with this prof. is not that he wasn't easy (he was), but rather that he doesn't appear to care. This class was super-easy. He seemed bored with it. I like engaged teachers who challenge me.

I was shocked to see bad reviews of him-his tests are very easy to me and very straightforward. He is monotone, but know the study guide and its an easy A and you actually learn the important points of the class. I would recommend people to take him.

Most boring class ever. Auble is a nice guy, and seems pretty cool, but the subject matter sucks. As long as you study his reviews hard you will be okay. Otherwise...the class has no homework, and you never really have to read because there is no quizzes. If you just study the review,you're straight

Does not give good notes. Tests are hard. Does not seem like he likes to teach. He rambles on and is hard to follow. Then he tests you on the stuff you think he is just rambling on about. He is very boring and monotone, but he is retiring and will be gone soon.

Philosophy, in general, is very interesting and thought-provoking. I liked most of the reading assignments in Philosophy book by Christian so as far as I know, Dr. Auble does his job in supplementing some ideas not in the book;however, some people might have difficult time understanding what he say
