Comment:

Someone might think that sitting in a history lecture for an hour is boring, but not with Ric Diaz. He adds humor to his lecture to keep you interested. He takes attendance every day and has three major assignment the midterm exam, a six-page essay, and the finals. Mostly you have to write and he doesn't care what your handwriting looks like. 10/10

Dias is the professor I didn't know I needed. He is absolutely amazing and wants all students to do well. Only 3 things make up your grade: Midterm, Paper, Final. Sounds terrifying but in the end, you can really use it to your advantage. Show up, listen, and try your hardest and you'll definitely get an A.

A wonderful professor. He makes history fascinating to anyone. I learned so much about a time period that I thought I already knew well. He is also very willing to help you with your work, even if you get behind. Take a class with him if at all possible, history majors and non-history majors alike.

Hilarious professor! Seriously, if you hate history, take it with him, cause even if you don't love the subject the he'll make the class entertaining. He's a hard professor, but he's more than willing to help you study if you're willing to put in the work.

Amazing professor. Allows students to form their own opinions and rewards original thinking (or things you think are original). Come, listen to the stories he tells, figure out how it all fits together to produce our reality . . . put those thoughts on your test, and ask for the stamp at least once before you leave.

Before attending Dias' class I hated History. But he finds a way to connect to the class somehow, and its usually histerical! He makes sure he knows your name and will help you however he can. Id say the best teacher Ive ever had! It doesnt hurt to mention Journey...the band.. he loves them! :)

Comment:

This guy is the bomb. He explains everything very logically and he enjoys questions. In fact, if he doesn't know the answer he will go find the answer. He encourages the students to ask for help and is always willing to help. I think he is one of the best teachers I have ever had.
