Thought this was really tough for an intro-level art class. Tons of projects that took a lot of time plus had to travel to NYC and visit galleries on a weekend. Projects were awesome, but very time consuming. Maybe less projects and do the work in class, I felt overextended.

He gives tons of work. But if you get it done and the work is rather abstract and completely bizarre (like him), he will most likely like the work and will grade you fairly and the final grade will most likely be a B+ - A or A-

John M. is such a good person. He will help you and even if he seems unclear, he will clarify later. He really helped me understnd the contemporary art scene and was a fair grader.

he is incredibly unclear with directions. when he is talking i want to stab myself in the ears so i can drowned him out. he allows you to resubmit projects but doesn't tell you how to make them better, so really you spend loads of time on them and can still get screwed. avoid him at all costs.
